Telehealth & Crisis-Lite Mental Health Services

Flexible Support • Short-Term Care • Wherever You Are

At Emergent Mental Health Services (EMHS), we provide Crisis-Lite telehealth and in-person mental health services for people who are feeling overwhelmed, emotionally stuck, or going through a difficult transition and need support sooner rather than later.

Our focus is simple:
help you feel more stable, learn helpful coping skills, and figure out next steps—without unnecessary barriers.

Telehealth Services at EMHS

Telehealth allows you to receive care from the comfort and privacy of your own space using secure video or phone sessions. It’s a flexible option for people with busy schedules, transportation challenges, or who simply feel more comfortable meeting from home.

Telehealth is available throughout Arizona and is part of our non-emergency outpatient Crisis-Lite model.

What Telehealth at EMHS Is (and Isn’t)

Telehealth IS:

  • Short-term, supportive mental health care
  • Focused on stabilization, coping skills, and practical next steps
  • Designed to be flexible, accessible, and easy to use
  • Available statewide in Arizona
  • Used for:
    • Individual Crisis-Lite support
    • Online group services
    • Peer support
    • Case management

Telehealth IS NOT:

  • Emergency or crisis-response care
  • A replacement for 911, emergency rooms, or inpatient services
  • Long-term or intensive psychotherapy
  • Immediate safety intervention

If you are in immediate danger or experiencing a psychiatric emergency, please call 911 or 988 right away.

Telehealth Services Available Through EMHS

Individual Crisis-Lite Mental Health Support

One-on-one sessions focused on helping you get through what you’re dealing with right now.

Sessions may help with:

  • Emotional stabilization
  • Identifying current stressors
  • Learning practical coping tools
  • Clarifying next steps and referrals

These sessions are short-term and goal-focused, not long-term therapy.

Crisis-Lite Group Services (Telehealth)

Our online groups offer structured, supportive spaces where you can learn skills, feel less alone, and build stability during stressful or overwhelming times. Groups are welcoming, easy to join, and helpful right away, with no long-term commitment required.

What Our Groups Focus On

Groups may support you with:

  • Coping skills and emotional regulation
  • Managing stress, burnout, and daily pressures
  • Connecting with others who understand what you’re going through
  • Learning practical tools you can use in everyday life

Groups are skills-based and supportive, not traditional psychotherapy groups. Many people attend groups on an ongoing basis as long as they find them helpful.

Who Facilitates Groups

Groups may be facilitated by licensed clinicians, supervised counseling interns, peer support specialists, or case managers, depending on the group type.

Groups led by counseling interns are educational and skills-focused and are provided under appropriate clinical supervision.

Online Groups May Include

  • Anxiety & Emotional Regulation – tools to manage anxiety, emotional overwhelm, and distress
  • Depression & Mood Stabilization – support with low mood, motivation, and daily structure
  • Stress, Burnout & Life Overload – help for feeling stretched thin or exhausted
  • Post-Hospital Stabilization (24–72 Hour Follow-Up) – short-term support after hospital or ER discharge
  • Crisis Coping & De-Escalation Skills – grounding and calming tools for intense emotions
  • Life Transitions & Re-Entry Adjustment – support during major life changes or re-entry
  • Stability & Daily Living Skills – routines, follow-through, and problem-solving
  • Resource Navigation & Support – help accessing benefits, services, and community resources

💻 All groups are available through secure telehealth, so you can join from wherever you feel most comfortable.

Peer Support (Telehealth)

Peer support offers encouragement and understanding from someone with lived experience.

Peer support may help with:

  • Feeling heard and supported
  • Navigating systems of care
  • Following through on goals or referrals
  • Staying engaged during transitions

Peer support is not therapy, but many people find it makes care feel more human and approachable.

Case Management (Telehealth)

Case management focuses on helping you connect the dots between mental health support and real-life needs.

This may include:

  • Identifying helpful community resources
  • Coordinating referrals
  • Support accessing housing, benefits, medical care, or social services
  • Short-term planning to reduce barriers and stress

Case management is practical, supportive, and short-term, not long-term coordination.

Why Telehealth Is Used in Our Crisis-Lite Services

Telehealth helps make support easier to reach when you need it most. It allows us to connect quickly, reduce stress around logistics, and offer early support before challenges escalate—while staying within a non-emergency outpatient model.

Many people find telehealth just as supportive as in-person care, with added convenience and comfort.

Privacy & Confidentiality

All telehealth services use secure, HIPAA-compliant platforms. We encourage clients to participate from a private space whenever possible to support confidentiality.
