Emergent Mental Health Services is committed to providing accessible, inclusive, and respectful services to adults with disabilities. We strive to ensure that our facilities, programs, and communications are accessible in accordance with applicable federal and state laws, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Our Commitment to Accessibility

Accessible Facilities

Our clinic provides reasonable physical accessibility accommodations, which may include accessible entrances, restrooms, and seating, to support individuals with mobility-related disabilities.

Communication Access

We offer reasonable accommodations for individuals with hearing, vision, speech, or communication-related disabilities. Accommodations may include interpreters, alternative formats, or other communication supports at no cost, upon request.

Service Access & Modifications

Reasonable accommodations may be provided to support access to our Crisis-Lite, access-focused services, including walk-in and scheduled services, when clinically and operationally appropriate.

Equal Access & Nondiscrimination

Individuals with disabilities are entitled to equal access to services and will be treated with dignity, respect, and fairness. Emergent Mental Health Services does not discriminate on the basis of disability.

Accessibility, Accommodations & Grievances

Emergent Mental Health Services is committed to providing accessible, nondiscriminatory services in accordance with applicable laws, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Reasonable accommodations and language assistance services, including interpreters, are available at no cost upon request.

Clients who believe their accessibility needs were not adequately addressed, or who have concerns related to accommodations, services, or communication access, have the right to file a complaint or grievance. Filing a grievance will not affect access to services and retaliation is prohibited.

Concerns may be submitted to:

  • Emergent Mental Health Services
  • The client’s AHCCCS Health Plan
  • AHCCCS directly

Assistance is available to help clients request accommodations or file grievances.

Requesting Accommodations

Clients or visitors who require accommodations are encouraged to contact us in advance or at the time of service so we can coordinate appropriate support.

Language assistance services, including interpreters, and reasonable accommodations are available at no cost upon request.

Feedback & Accessibility Concerns

We welcome feedback regarding accessibility or accommodation needs. Concerns or suggestions may be shared with our administrative team and will be reviewed promptly.
