Emergent Mental Health Services is a Crisis-Lite, access-focused behavioral health clinic for adults. We provide non-emergency, short-term mental health support, stabilization, and care coordination for individuals who do not require inpatient or emergency psychiatric services.

We serve adults only (18+).
We do not serve children, adolescents, couples, or families.

Services may include:

  • Crisis-Lite individual mental health support
  • Skills-based and supportive groups
  • Peer support
  • Case management and resource coordination
  • Medication management
  • Telehealth services
  • Transportation-supported access to care

Services are short-term and goal-focused, with an emphasis on stabilization and next-step planning.

“Crisis-Lite” means the client:

  • Is experiencing distress, instability, or increased symptoms
  • Does not require hospitalization, involuntary treatment, or emergency response
  • Can safely engage in outpatient-level services

We are not a crisis stabilization unit, inpatient facility, or emergency department.

Services may be provided by:

  • Licensed clinicians
  • Psychiatric nurse practitioners
  • Supervised counseling interns
  • Peer support specialists
  • Case managers

All services are delivered within scope of practice, supervision, and payer requirements.

No. We do not function as a long-term outpatient psychotherapy provider.
When ongoing therapy is indicated, we assist with referrals and warm hand-offs.

Yes. We accept AHCCCS, Medicare, TRICARE, and select private insurance plans.
Service availability may vary by payer and authorization requirements.

Same-day access may be available depending on staffing and service type.
We encourage referral partners to coordinate in advance when possible.

Yes. Non-emergency transportation support may be available for eligible clients to reduce access barriers.

Referrals may be made by:

  • Phone
  • Secure referral form
  • Coordinated warm hand-off (when applicable)

We are not appropriate for:

  • Psychiatric emergencies
  • Individuals requiring involuntary treatment
  • Acute intoxication or withdrawal requiring medical monitoring
  • Clients under 18

Couples or family therapy referrals

With appropriate consent, we can provide:

  • Referral outcome updates
  • Care coordination
  • Transition planning to ongoing services
