Crisis-Lite Groups

Structured Support to Help You Feel More Stable

When things feel overwhelming, having a place to show up and feel supported can make a real difference.

Crisis-Lite Groups provide a structured, supportive environment where you can build stability, learn practical skills, and connect with others during difficult moments.

As part of our Crisis-Lite approach, groups are designed to support you right now—not as long-term therapy, but as a way to help you feel more grounded and move forward.

What Groups Look Like

Groups offer a calm, guided space led by trained behavioral health professionals.

You can expect:

  • A supportive and respectful environment
  • Guidance from a clinician
  • Practical tools to help manage stress and emotions
  • Opportunities to listen, learn, and participate
  • The option to share—without any pressure

You can participate at your own pace. Just showing up is a strong first step.

How Groups Help

Groups play an important role in stabilization and support.

They can help you:

  • Feel less alone in what you’re experiencing
  • Learn coping skills you can use right away
  • Build structure and routine during a difficult time
  • Stay connected and supported
  • Take small, steady steps toward feeling better

Who Groups Support

Groups are often part of care for individuals who are:

  • Experiencing emotional distress or instability
  • Recently discharged from a hospital or treatment program
  • Transitioning from a structured setting back into the community
  • Waiting for services or experiencing a gap in care
  • Looking for support, structure, and connection

You don’t need to have everything figured out to participate.

How Groups Fit Into Your Care

Groups are part of a coordinated, team-based approach and are often combined with:

  • Counseling
  • Peer support
  • Case management
  • Psychiatric services
  • Resource navigation

We determine the right combination of support based on your needs, so you’re not trying to figure it out on your own.

A Different Approach Than Traditional Group Therapy

Crisis-Lite Groups are designed to support you during this period of difficulty, not as long-term outpatient group therapy.

Our focus is to help you:

  • Stabilize
  • Feel supported
  • Build skills you can use right away

As you begin to feel more stable, we help connect you to the next step in care if ongoing support is needed.

Getting Started

All services begin with a brief screening process to determine what support is appropriate.
